The picual olive variety is the most planted today in Andalucia. One of the reason, probably, is that this variety lend a characteristic body and fragrance, to the Extra Virgin Olive Oil, and it is very stable besides it is the richest in Omega 2. Further more, this olive tree is specially suitable for the lands and climate of the provinces of Jaen and Cordoba.

The Picual quality is a “full body” Extra Virgin Olive Oil, with an intense and slightly bitter taste, which in the case of Cordoba,  is minimized a bit due to the albarizas soil that abound in our area.

The label is decorated with the flower of the “arbea lotuosa” commonly present in our olive trees plantations.
